What You'll Be Doing:
As a Construction Laborer, you will play a vital role in our daily operations, assisting skilled tradespeople and ensuring projects are completed efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up temporary structures.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment using hand trucks, forklifts, or manual labor.
- Assist Trades: Support electricians, plumbers, carpenters, and other construction professionals with various tasks as directed.
- Tool Operation: Operate basic power tools and hand tools correctly and safely under supervision.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to maintain a safe work environment for yourself and your team.
- Site Cleanup: Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards throughout the shift.
- Measurements: Help with basic measurements and layout tasks to ensure accuracy in construction projects.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs), and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Reliability: A strong work ethic and the ability to show up on time consistently.
- Communication: Basic ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors.
- Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail to ensure tasks are completed correctly.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends or overtime as needed.
- Documentation: Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred, but not strictly required for entry-level positions.
