Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various construction tasks, including carpentry, masonry, and general labor.
- Operate and maintain construction tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload materials, ensuring proper handling and organization on the job site.
- Perform site cleanup, debris removal, and waste disposal as directed.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and site-specific safety protocols at all times.
- Transport materials to and from the job site using hand trucks or forklifts.
- Assist in preparing construction sites by digging trenches, setting forms, and pouring concrete.
Qualifications
- Physical stamina to work long hours and perform heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Ability to work night shifts (typically 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM) on a regular basis.
- Basic math skills for measuring and estimating.
- Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Previous construction experience is a plus but not required.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
