Responsibilities
- Assist in the daily operations of construction sites, including excavation, framing, and finishing.
- Operate power tools and heavy machinery (e.g., forklifts, jackhammers) safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload construction materials from delivery trucks and organize the site.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to ensure a hazard-free environment.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, schematics, and job specifications.
- Perform physical labor including lifting, digging, and carrying materials over long distances.
- Collaborate with foremen and other team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred; trade school experience is a plus.
- Must be physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and at heights (if applicable).
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations.
- Previous experience in general labor or construction is highly desirable but not required for immediate hire.
