Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, excavating, and grading the land according to blueprints.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and distribute construction materials, tools, and equipment to designated areas safely.
- Machinery Operation: Operate heavy machinery, such as forklifts, bulldozers, and concrete mixers, under direct supervision.
- Support Trades: Provide critical support to skilled tradespeople, including carpenters, electricians, and masons.
- Quality Control: Help ensure all work meets project specifications and safety standards.
- Site Safety: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for long hours, including lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Experience: Previous construction experience is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated candidates with a strong work ethic.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and have a valid driver's license.
- Communication: Basic ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Teamwork: Strong desire to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
