Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the job site.
- Site Support: Assist skilled tradespeople with various tasks including framing, drywall hanging, and concrete finishing.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate power tools and light construction equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) as required.
- Site Maintenance: Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of debris to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Blueprint Reading: Interpret basic blueprints and follow verbal instructions from supervisors.
- Quality Control: Perform basic inspections to ensure work meets quality standards.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous construction experience is preferred but not required; we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Availability: Must be available to work night shifts (5:00 PM - 3:00 AM).
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Driver's License: A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.
- Education: High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
