Responsibilities
- Operate heavy construction equipment and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Load, unload, and stack building materials, lumber, and supplies.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, masons) with various site tasks.
- Prepare construction sites by clearing land, digging trenches, and setting forms.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by removing debris and trash.
- Perform basic measurements and calculations to ensure material accuracy.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to the job site.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting 50+ lbs repeatedly.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and on rough terrain.
- Basic reading comprehension and math skills for following instructions.
- Previous construction experience is a plus but not required for entry-level.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and the ability to work well in a team.
