Responsibilities
- Perform heavy manual labor, including digging, hauling, and loading construction materials.
- Assist with site preparation, including clearing debris, leveling ground, and cleaning work areas.
- Operate basic construction equipment (e.g., skid steers, pallet jacks, and forklifts) safely under supervision.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Collaborate with team members and skilled tradespeople to ensure projects are completed efficiently.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, plans, and diagrams.
- Unload and organize construction supplies and materials at the job site.
Qualifications
- Must be physically fit and able to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation is required.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, rain, cold).
- Basic knowledge of construction safety standards (OSHA) is preferred.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to follow instructions.
- Experience in general labor or construction is a plus but not mandatory.
