Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling ground.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and distribute construction materials (wood, concrete, steel) to work areas.
- Equipment Support: Operate hand and power tools safely under the supervision of experienced crew members.
- Site Maintenance: Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Assistance: Support skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with various tasks as needed.
- Communication: Report safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to the site supervisor immediately.
Qualifications
- Physical Fitness: Ability to perform manual labor, including lifting up to 50+ lbs, standing for long periods, and working in various weather conditions.
- Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and willing to work full-time hours.
- Communication: Basic ability to understand and follow verbal instructions.
- Documentation: Must have a valid ID and eligibility to work in the United States.
- Attitude: A positive attitude and a strong desire to learn the construction trade.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license is preferred but not always mandatory.
