Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various construction tasks, including digging, mixing concrete, and carrying materials.
- Operate basic construction tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring materials are stored properly on the job site.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by removing debris and following safety protocols.
- Perform general site cleanup, including sweeping, raking, and trash removal.
- Read and understand basic blueprints and job site instructions.
- Work in various weather conditions and perform physical labor as required.
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required; on-the-job training provided.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Willingness to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions.
- Basic ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license is preferred but not required.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
