Responsibilities
- Assist Craftsmen: Support skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with daily tasks and site preparation.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site by removing debris and organizing materials.
- Heavy Equipment: Operate heavy machinery and hand tools (pumps, generators, jackhammers) safely and efficiently.
- Material Handling: Load and unload construction materials, ensuring proper handling and inventory control.
- Demolition & Prep: Perform basic demolition tasks and prepare surfaces for finishing work.
- Physical Labor: Perform physically demanding tasks including digging, lifting, and carrying materials over rough terrain.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in construction, landscaping, or general labor is preferred but not required.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Communication: Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively with the crew and supervisors.
- Safety Conscious: Familiarity with OSHA safety standards is a plus.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and willing to work full-time hours.
