Responsibilities
- Perform physical labor tasks including digging, lifting materials, and operating hand/power tools
- Assist skilled tradesmen with site preparation, demolition, and cleanup operations
- Follow blueprints and safety protocols to ensure project compliance
- Maintain clean and organized job sites to prevent hazards
- Operate light machinery like forklifts and jackhammers with proper certification
- Report equipment malfunctions and safety concerns to supervisors
- Participate in daily toolbox meetings to align on daily objectives
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of construction labor experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in extreme weather conditions
- Valid OSHA 10-hour construction certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and construction equipment
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and team collaboration
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Louisville metro area
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Ability to stand/walk 8+ hours daily with scheduled breaks
