Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Prepare construction sites by clearing, digging, and leveling areas before work begins.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites.
- Assistance: Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with various tasks as directed.
- Tool Operation: Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively under supervision.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area by removing debris and waste.
- Support: Perform general labor tasks such as digging trenches, pouring concrete, or assisting in framing.
Qualifications
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift heavy objects (50+ lbs) repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and able to report to work on time consistently.
- Transportation: Valid Driver’s License and reliable personal transportation are required.
- Experience: Previous construction or labor experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Communication: Ability to follow instructions clearly and communicate effectively with the crew.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours, including weekends if necessary.
