Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various tasks including loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials.
- Operate hand and power tools safely under supervision.
- Perform site preparation tasks such as digging, clearing debris, and cleaning work areas.
- Maintain a safe and organized job site by adhering to OSHA safety protocols.
- Help with basic carpentry, concrete finishing, or general cleanup duties as directed.
- Follow verbal and written instructions from site foremen and supervisors.
- Ensure tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained.
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required. We are looking for eagerness to learn.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Physically demanding role: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for reading measurements and understanding plans.
- Valid driver's license is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to work well in a team.
- Willingness to learn and follow safety guidelines strictly.
