Responsibilities
- Perform heavy lifting, carrying materials, and operating hand/power tools
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other skilled trades with site preparation
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain clean job sites
- Read blueprints and interpret construction plans
- Operate light machinery (e.g., jackhammers, saws) after training
- Assist in demolition, excavation, and debris removal
- Report equipment malfunctions and safety hazards
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in extreme weather
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year construction experience preferred
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Basic math skills for measurements and material estimates
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
