Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with a variety of tasks, including carpentry, framing, drywall installation, and site preparation.
- Load, unload, and prepare building materials, tools, and equipment at job sites efficiently and safely.
- Perform general site cleanup, including removal of debris, trash, and ensuring the work area is hazard-free.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a secure working environment.
- Operate hand and power tools correctly and safely under the supervision of senior crew members.
- Measure, cut, and fit materials for construction tasks with precision.
- Support the crew with heavy lifting and physical labor as required to meet project deadlines.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand/walk for extended periods outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- Willingness to learn new skills and follow detailed instructions from supervisors.
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety equipment is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
