Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and stack building materials, tools, and equipment efficiently.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, masons) with various tasks on-site.
- Operate heavy machinery and power tools safely and according to guidelines.
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and ensuring safety compliance.
- Perform basic measurements, cutting, and fitting tasks as directed by supervisors.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area throughout the shift.
Qualifications
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to the job site.
- Previous experience in construction or general labor is preferred but not required.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions and environments.
- Knowledge of basic safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
