Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with daily construction tasks.
- Load, unload, and stack building materials, tools, and equipment safely.
- Operate hand and power tools, ensuring proper usage and maintenance.
- Perform site cleanup, including debris removal and trash disposal.
- Prepare work areas by cleaning, marking, and securing the site.
- Follow all safety guidelines and OSHA regulations strictly.
- Transport materials between job sites as directed.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
- Basic understanding of construction safety protocols.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work well in a team.
- Basic math skills for measuring and estimating.
