Responsibilities
- Perform physical labor including material handling, site preparation, and debris removal
- Operate hand/power tools safely (saws, drills, jackhammers) under supervisor guidance
- Assist skilled trades with layout, measurements, and installation tasks
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and job site cleanliness
- Inspect work areas and report hazards, equipment issues, or material shortages
- Collaborate with crew to meet nightly production targets and quality standards
- Support concrete work, framing, and finishing tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain
- Reliable transportation and flexible availability for night shifts (6 PM - 6 AM)
- Basic tool operation knowledge (hammers, saws, levels)
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety-first practices
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions (heat, dust)
