Responsibilities
- Execute precise material handling, loading/unloading, and equipment operation under night shift conditions
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and site-specific hazard mitigation procedures
- Assist skilled trades with layout, excavation, and finishing tasks on high-value projects
- Maintain organized tool inventory and site cleanliness during night operations
- Participate in pre-shift safety briefings and post-shift equipment inspections
- Operate power tools and machinery including jackhammers, saws, and compactors
- Document daily progress and report site conditions to shift supervisors
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience or trade school certification
- OSHA 10-Hour Construction certification required (training provided if needed)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in extreme weather conditions
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Proficient with hand/power tools and basic construction machinery
- Flexibility to work 8-10 hour night shifts (6 PM - 6 AM) including weekends
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Basic math skills for material measurement and inventory
