Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation, excavation, and material handling with precision
- Operate power tools (jackhammers, saws, drills) and heavy machinery under supervision
- Maintain OSHA compliance through rigorous safety protocols and hazard reporting
- Collaborate with skilled trades on concrete pours, framing, and demolition
- Manage inventory logistics and maintain organized work zones
- Complete daily equipment inspections and preventative maintenance
- Support emergency response protocols during night-shift incidents
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor or related field experience
- Valid OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to lift 75+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks for 8+ hours
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Oakland County
- Basic math skills for material estimation and inventory tracking
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Strong communication skills for shift handovers and team coordination
- Flexibility to work variable night schedules (Sun-Thu, 8 PM-4 AM)
