Responsibilities
- Perform physical labor including excavation, material handling, and site cleanup
- Operate heavy machinery (forklifts, excavators) with proper certification
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and site-specific guidelines
- Assist skilled tradesmen with material preparation and installation
- Maintain equipment functionality through daily inspections and minor maintenance
- Complete shift documentation and progress reports accurately
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional night shift teams
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Night shift availability (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Basic tool proficiency (hammers, saws, drills)
- Strong problem-solving skills in dynamic environments
- Pass pre-employment background/drug screening
