Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, trenching, and material handling
- Operate heavy machinery (bobcats, forklifts) with precision and safety protocols
- Assist skilled tradesmen with concrete pouring, framing, and finishing work
- Maintain clean, organized job sites with proper waste management
- Conduct safety inspections and report hazards immediately
- Read blueprints and interpret technical specifications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet tight deadlines
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years commercial construction experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid Texas driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Proficiency with hand/power tools and construction equipment
- Availability for 10-hour night shifts (6 PM - 4 AM)
- Strong problem-solving skills in low-visibility conditions
