Responsibilities
- Perform heavy lifting, material handling, and site preparation during overnight shifts
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) safely and efficiently
- Assist skilled trades with concrete pouring, framing, and demolition tasks
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and site cleanliness
- Read and interpret blueprints to execute construction plans accurately
- Monitor equipment functionality and report maintenance needs promptly
- Collaborate with crew members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of construction labor experience or trade school certification
- Valid OSHA 10-hour construction safety certification required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in extreme weather conditions
- Reliable transportation and ability to pass pre-employment background check
- Basic math skills for material measurements and inventory management
- Strong communication skills for team coordination and supervisor reporting
- Flexibility to work 10-12 hour shifts (6 PM - 6 AM) with rotating weekends
