- Operate basic construction equipment under supervision (e.g., jackhammers, saws)
- Read and interpret simple construction plans and blueprints
- Participate in team-based construction projects with clear task assignments
- Complete daily equipment maintenance checks and basic troubleshooting
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required – comprehensive training provided
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license preferred but not mandatory
- Reliable transportation to job sites across San Diego County
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Willingness to work overnight shifts (typically 6 PM - 6 AM)
- Strong work ethic and punctuality for night shift assignments
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
