Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris and setting up safety barriers
- Load/unload materials and equipment using forklifts and hand tools
- Assist carpenters and masons with concrete pouring, framing, and finishing
- Operate power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) per OSHA standards
- Perform site cleanup and waste management daily
- Complete daily inspection reports and safety documentation
- Collaborate with supervisors to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction/labor experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- Flexibility to work 10-12 hour night shifts (6 PM-6 AM)
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Basic math skills for material measurements
- Reliable transportation to job sites
