Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites efficiently and safely.
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing the construction site by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up temporary structures.
- Tool Operation: Operate basic hand and power tools under supervision to support skilled tradespeople.
- General Labor: Perform various manual tasks including cleaning work areas, mixing concrete, and assisting with carpentry or masonry work.
- Quality Control: Ensure work meets project specifications and report any safety hazards or material defects immediately.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the crew to meet daily project goals and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry heavy objects for extended periods (up to 50+ lbs).
- Availability: Must be available to work night shifts (typically 4:00 PM - 2:00 AM) and weekends as needed.
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred; no prior construction experience is required (we provide training).
- Communication: Basic ability to understand and follow verbal instructions from supervisors.
- Equipment: Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
