Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople (electricians, plumbers, carpenters) with daily installation and repair tasks.
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites efficiently.
- Operate heavy machinery and power tools under the direct supervision of a foreman.
- Perform general site cleanup, debris removal, and preparation for next-day work.
- Measure, cut, and prepare building materials according to blueprints and instructions.
- Ensure all work areas remain clean, organized, and safe for the night shift crew.
- Monitor equipment functionality and report any maintenance issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM).
- Physically fit and able to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods.
- High school diploma or GED preferred; trade school background is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites.
- Basic knowledge of construction tools, safety equipment, and OSHA regulations.
- Willingness to travel to various projects in the greater Atlanta and New York regions.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to follow instructions.
