Responsibilities
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment from delivery trucks.
- Operate heavy machinery such as forklifts, skid steers, and pallet jacks (certification preferred).
- Assist skilled tradesmen with various onsite tasks, including framing, drywall hanging, and general cleanup.
- Perform basic site preparation, including digging, tamping, and debris removal.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, diagrams, and safety instructions.
- Ensure the job site is clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
- Wear and maintain all required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Qualifications
- Ability to work rotating night shifts and weekends as needed.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly and stand for long periods.
- Valid Driver’s License is preferred but not always required.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read measurements.
- Previous construction experience is a plus but we will train the right candidate.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
