Responsibilities
- Material Transport: Safely load, unload, and stack lumber, bricks, concrete, and other construction materials.
- Site Preparation: Assist in clearing debris, digging trenches, and preparing the site for construction activities.
- Tool Operation: Operate power tools and construction machinery (e.g., forklifts, jackhammers) under the guidance of a supervisor.
- Trade Support: Provide hands-on support to skilled tradespeople including carpenters, electricians, and plumbers.
- Site Maintenance: Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA safety regulations.
- General Labor: Perform various manual tasks such as cleaning forms, mixing concrete, and assisting in framing.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work night shifts (e.g., 4:00 PM to 1:00 AM).
- Physical Stamina: Must be physically fit to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Experience: Previous construction labor experience is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated candidates.
- Driver's License: A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are required.
- Communication: Ability to read instructions and communicate effectively with team members.
- Safety Conscious: Must adhere to all safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
