Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain heavy construction equipment and hand tools safely and efficiently on-site.
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials (wood, concrete, steel) to and from job sites.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with various tasks to ensure project milestones are met.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by removing debris and adhering to OSHA regulations.
- Perform basic site preparation tasks, including digging, leveling, and concrete pouring support.
- Follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors to ensure quality workmanship.
- Perform routine equipment inspections and report any maintenance needs immediately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred; trade school certification is a plus.
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly and work in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to work night shifts (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM) and weekends as required.
- Basic math skills for measuring and cutting materials.
- Previous construction labor experience is preferred but not mandatory; we provide on-the-job training.
