Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks.
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by cleaning, digging, and setting up equipment for the day shift crew.
- Equipment Support: Operate heavy machinery and power tools (under supervision) to assist in concrete pouring, framing, or excavation tasks.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by removing debris and ensuring proper waste disposal.
- Trade Assistance: Provide general labor support to skilled tradespeople, including carpenters, electricians, and masons.
- Quality Control: Perform basic quality checks on work areas to ensure compliance with project specifications.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly, stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Experience: Previous experience in general construction labor or a similar trade is preferred but not required.
- License: Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
- Safety Focus: Commitment to following all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols.
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts (4:00 PM - 12:00 AM or 5:00 PM - 1:00 AM).
- Tools: Willingness to provide your own basic safety gear (steel-toed boots, hard hat, high-visibility vest).
