Responsibilities
- Material Management: Load, unload, and stack building materials, tools, and equipment using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Site Preparation: Prepare job sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up temporary fencing and signage.
- General Labor: Perform basic construction tasks including concrete finishing, drywall hanging, painting, and assisting with framing.
- Tool Operation: Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently under the guidance of foremen.
- Quality Control: Assist in quality assurance tasks, ensuring work meets project specifications and safety standards.
- Sanitation: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by cleaning up spills and debris immediately.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in construction labor or general labor is preferred; however, we offer comprehensive on-the-job training for motivated candidates.
- Schedule: Must be available to work night shifts (typically 4:00 PM β 2:30 AM) and weekends as required.
- Physical Demands: Must be physically fit, capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly, and able to stand or walk for extended periods.
- License: Valid Driverβs License and a clean driving record are required.
- Tools: Basic familiarity with construction tools and safety equipment is a plus.
- Work Ethic: Strong work ethic, reliability, and a commitment to safety.
