Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including excavation, material handling, and site preparation
- Operate heavy machinery (e.g., jackhammers, power saws) under supervision
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain clean work areas
- Assist skilled tradesmen with construction and demolition activities
- Read and interpret blueprints and construction plans
- Transport materials using forklifts or other equipment as needed
- Complete daily progress reports and maintain equipment logs
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction or industrial labor experience
- Valid OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Availability for consistent night shifts (6 PM - 6 AM)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Basic hand tool proficiency and mechanical aptitude
- Drug-free and able to pass background check
