Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Prepare construction sites by clearing and cleaning areas, moving materials, and setting up workstations.
- Material Handling: Load and unload building materials, tools, and equipment using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks.
- Assist Trades: Support skilled tradespeople (electricians, plumbers, carpenters) with various tasks as directed.
- Assembly: Assemble structural components, including framing, drywall hanging, and basic carpentry tasks.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Site Cleanup: Maintain a clean and organized job site at the end of each shift.
- Inventory Management: Assist in counting and tracking on-site materials to prevent waste and shortages.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Must be able to lift 50+ lbs frequently and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Availability: Must be available to work night shifts (e.g., 5:00 PM - 3:00 AM).
- Experience: Prior construction or general labor experience is preferred but not required.
- Tools: Basic knowledge of hand and power tools is a plus.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Driver's License: Valid Texas driver's license required for site transport.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on quality and safety standards.
