Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with material handling and site preparation
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently (saws, drills, jackhammers)
- Perform physical tasks including digging, lifting, and carrying materials up to 50 lbs
- Maintain clean and organized job sites by removing debris and waste
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company standards
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and instructions
- Assist in setting up and breaking down temporary structures/scaffolding
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Physical stamina to work 8-10 hour days in all weather conditions
- Basic understanding of construction terminology and practices
- Commitment to safety and willingness to obtain required certifications
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic with minimal supervision
- Flexibility to work weekends and overtime as needed
