Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including excavation, material handling, and debris removal
- Operate heavy machinery safely (forklifts, excavators, etc.)
- Assist skilled tradespeople with site preparation and framing
- Maintain clean, organized job sites following OSHA standards
- Read blueprints and execute construction plans precisely
- Conduct equipment pre/post-shift inspections
- Collaborate with night shift team leads on workflow optimization
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience
- Valid OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in extreme weather
- Class B CDL preferred (not required)
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- Ability to pass background/drug screening
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Basic hand/power tool proficiency
