Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the job site efficiently.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with daily tasks and project execution.
- Operate basic construction machinery, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and skid steers.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site by removing debris and ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Perform general site preparation, excavation support, and concrete finishing tasks.
- Follow all verbal and written instructions from site supervisors and project managers.
- Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions immediately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous construction experience is a plus but not required (comprehensive training provided).
- Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Must be available to work night shifts (e.g., 5:00 PM – 3:00 AM).
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to work well within a team structure.
