Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with material handling, site preparation, and cleanup
- Operate basic hand tools (hammers, shovels, levels) and power tools under supervision
- Load/un construction materials and equipment safely
- Maintain clean and organized job sites following safety protocols
- Read basic blueprints and follow verbal instructions from supervisors
- Perform physical tasks including lifting (up to 50 lbs), digging, and carrying
- Support project completion by adhering to schedules and quality standards
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in outdoor environments
- Valid driver's license preferred but not mandatory
- Willingness to attend paid safety orientation and tool training
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with flexible availability
- Basic communication skills and ability to follow instructions
- Comfortable working in various weather conditions
- Reliable transportation to job sites within Miami-Dade County
