Responsibilities
- Perform various general labor tasks on active construction sites, including digging, loading, and unloading materials.
- Operate basic construction equipment and hand tools safely and efficiently under supervision.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area at all times, adhering to OSHA safety standards.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with daily tasks as directed by the Site Supervisor.
- Transport materials to and from job sites using manual labor or light machinery.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints or safety signage when necessary.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: Previous construction experience is a plus but not mandatory; we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Night Shift Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 4:00 PM to 2:00 AM).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects and standing for long durations.
- Driver’s License: A valid Driver’s License is preferred for material transport.
- Safety Minded: A commitment to following safety procedures and wearing all required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
- Reliability: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
