Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and masons with material handling and site preparation
- Operate basic tools (shovels, jackhammers, saws) under supervision
- Perform site cleanup, debris removal, and waste management
- Read and interpret basic construction blueprints and safety protocols
- Maintain tool inventory and report equipment malfunctions
- Adhere to OSHA safety standards and company policies
- Support team members during concrete pouring and framing phases
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in outdoor conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings
- Strong teamwork ethic and communication skills
- Previous construction experience a plus but not required
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check
