Responsibilities
- Perform general labor tasks including digging, hauling, and cleaning job sites.
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (electricians, plumbers, carpenters) with various tasks as directed by the site supervisor.
- Operate basic tools and machinery, including forklifts and skid steers, when certified or trained.
- Ensure all work areas are clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA safety regulations.
- Follow all company policies and safety protocols strictly to maintain a hazard-free environment.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred but not always required.
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record is a plus.
- Previous construction experience is a strong plus, but we will train the right candidate.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a night shift team.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety standards is desirable.
