Responsibilities
- Load and unload construction materials from trucks and haul them to work sites.
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various tasks such as framing, drywall hanging, and painting.
- Operate basic power tools and hand tools under the supervision of a foreman.
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, spreading gravel, and setting up scaffolding.
- Perform daily cleanup of the job site to maintain a safe and organized environment.
- Measure, cut, and fit building materials according to blueprints and specifications.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Must be willing to work rotating night shifts (typically 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM).
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work well in a team and follow verbal instructions.
- High school diploma or GED preferred but not mandatory.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
