Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites.
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing job sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up temporary structures.
- Equipment Operation: Operate basic construction equipment and tools safely and efficiently under supervision.
- Assembly: Help in the assembly and disassembly of scaffolding, barricades, and temporary fencing.
- Maintenance: Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Support: Perform general manual labor tasks as directed by the site foreman or project manager.
- Communication: Report any safety concerns or material shortages immediately to the shift lead.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be willing and able to work night shifts (typically 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM).
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects (50+ lbs) repeatedly; excellent physical stamina and strength.
- Experience: No prior construction experience required; general labor experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Age: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Transportation: Reliable personal transportation to and from the worksite.
- Attitude: Must possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.
- Documentation: Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
