Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and distribute construction materials, tools, and equipment safely to job sites.
- Site Assistance: Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with various tasks as directed.
- Site Maintenance: Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of debris to ensure a safe working environment.
- Equipment Support: Operate basic construction equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) after proper training.
- Handyman Tasks: Perform basic tasks such as digging, filling, and general cleanup.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Availability: Must be available to work night shifts (typically 5:00 PM - 3:00 AM or 4:00 PM - 2:00 AM).
- Reliability: A strong work ethic and punctuality are essential.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors.
- Tools: Willingness to provide own basic safety gear (steel-toed boots) or purchase from company.
