Responsibilities
- Assist Skilled Trades: Support electricians, carpenters, and general contractors with daily site tasks.
- Site Preparation: Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up scaffolding.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment.
- Equipment Operation: Operate basic construction machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and site-specific safety protocols at all times.
- Site Maintenance: Keep work areas clean, organized, and hazard-free.
- Handyman Tasks: Perform general labor duties such as painting, caulking, and basic repairs as directed.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Reliability: Consistent attendance and punctuality are required.
- Transportation: Valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors.
- Attitude: A positive attitude and a strong desire to learn the construction trade.
