Responsibilities
- Perform physical labor tasks such as digging, lifting, carrying, and hauling materials at a construction site.
- Operate heavy machinery and tools, including forklifts, skid steers, and concrete mixers, after proper training.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with daily operations and site preparation.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by removing debris, trash, and obstacles.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders to understand project requirements.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and site-specific safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred; equivalent experience in construction is a plus.
- Must be available to work night shifts consistently.
- Physical stamina to perform heavy manual labor for extended periods (standing, lifting up to 50+ lbs).
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety equipment.
- Ability to work well in a team and follow verbal instructions from supervisors.
