Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and accurately transport construction materials to and from job sites.
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various tasks, including carpentry, framing, and drywall.
- Operate heavy machinery and hand tools safely in accordance with safety protocols.
- Perform general cleanup of work areas, including debris removal and site preparation.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and site-specific safety guidelines strictly.
- Signal operators of heavy equipment to ensure safe material handling.
- Perform routine inspections of tools and equipment to ensure functionality.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (typically 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy loads (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Previous construction experience is a plus, but we train the right candidates.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to work well in a team.
