Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites efficiently.
- Site Assistance: Assist skilled tradespeople with tasks such as framing, drywall installation, and concrete finishing.
- Equipment Operation: Operate heavy machinery and power tools safely and according to safety protocols.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Demolition & Cleanup: Perform basic demolition and ensure proper waste disposal at the end of each shift.
- Blueprint Reading: Interpret basic blueprints and understand project layouts to perform assigned duties accurately.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in construction labor or general labor preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.
- Availability: Must be available to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
- License: Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Safety: Strong commitment to following all safety rules and regulations on the job site.
