Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment on-site.
- Site Preparation: Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, leveling ground, and setting up temporary structures.
- Tool Operation: Assist in the operation of power tools, hand tools, and heavy machinery under supervision.
- Support Trades: Provide labor support to carpenters, electricians, and masons as directed.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Transportation: Transport materials between job sites using company vehicles or hand trucks.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for 8-10 hour shifts, including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Experience: Previous construction or labor experience is preferred but not required; we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
- Availability: Must be available to work night shifts (typically 4:00 PM - 2:00 AM).
- Communication: Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors.
- Tools: Basic familiarity with construction tools is a plus.
