Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing job sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up temporary structures.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Support Trades: Provide essential support to skilled tradespeople, including carpenters, electricians, and plumbers.
- General Labor: Perform a variety of manual tasks such as mixing concrete, sweeping, and cleaning work areas.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
- Measurements: Assist in measuring and marking areas for cutting and installation under supervision.
Qualifications
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand/walk for extended periods outdoors.
- Availability: Willingness to work full-time hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Communication: Basic ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Work Ethic: Motivated, reliable, and eager to learn new skills.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a diverse team.
- Basic Math: Comfortable with basic arithmetic for measurements and counting.
- Attendance: A strong history of punctuality and reliability.
